The Challenge
Traditional project management software is often overcomplicated, bloated, and traps cross-functional departments in isolated operational silos. As a fast-growing digital entity, we needed to architect a proprietary, secure platform that balances lightweight simplicity with high-impact automated workflows — all without the performance lags or heavy licensing costs of third-party platforms.
Our Approach
01. Technical Discovery
Defined the technical architecture, selected a serverless-first approach, and designed a scalable foundation to eliminate heavy infrastructure while supporting future growth.
02. Architecture & Planning
Engineered the application using Next.js (App Router) and Supabase PostgreSQL, building the core product, enabling real-time collaboration, and implementing a scalable backend.
03. Agile Development
Integrated the Groq Cloud API and built an asynchronous AI queue processor to automatically decompose projects into actionable subtasks, estimate project complexity, and power intelligent workflow automation.
04. QA, Launch & Support
Developed The Hand-off visual task dependency system to automate workflow transitions, optimized the platform for serverless deployment, and ensured seamless collaboration through continuous testing and performance monitoring.

The challenge was to design an interface that felt lightweight and simple, avoiding the visual clutter and complexity typical of traditional project management tools, while still supporting high-impact, automated workflows.

01. Discover & Audit
We identified the need for a lightweight project management experience that eliminates the visual clutter common in traditional collaboration tools, establishing simplicity and ease of use as core design principles.
02. Strategy & Planning
We adopted a minimalist “Apple Notes” design philosophy and established the Two-Click Rule as a core interaction standard, ensuring essential actions could be completed quickly and intuitively.
03. Execution & Optimization
We designed a minimalist, zero-clutter dashboard alongside a fully responsive, mobile-first workspace layout. The interface was optimized to keep core workflows fast and accessible across different screen sizes.
04. Measure & Audit
We reviewed the responsive experience to ensure the workspace remained clear, usable, and effective on compact screens, supporting teams that needed to manage projects beyond the desktop environment.
